Oktoberfest – October 15, 2016
The Paonia Chamber sponsors the town’s annual Oktoberfest in mid-October. So, let’s roll out the barrels of beer, cook the brats, and start the music!
Crawford Pioneer Days – Beginning of June
Crawford Pioneer Days – baking contest, melodrama outhouse races, fireworks and more! Pioneer Days is the first summer festival in the North Fork Valley.
Gears and Beers – October 22, 2016
Gears and Beers is an event featuring mountain and road bike rides, beer sampling, music, food and much more!
CHERRY DAYS – Fourth of July
In 2013 a local community group organized Cherry Days. The Chamber traditionally hosts Downtown Days – check this site periodically for updates!

Mountain Harvest Festival – Last Thursday thru Sunday of September (22-25, 2016)
The annual Mountain Harvest Festival in Paonia is a wonderful community celebration of agriculture, art, music and life in general on Colorado’s Western Slope, held in Paonia in the North Fork Valley, the Heart of the Western Slope.
This festival draws people from around the West to share in the celebration, and features locally grown and produced agricultural products, including local beer and wine. Come learn about and meet local farmers, artists, musicians, craftsmen and performers from the Western Slope. Enjoy interesting workshops and tours.

Paonia Film Festival – Spring
This Spring festival shows films that are exclusive to Western Slope filmmakers and/or topics relevant to the region. The festival features short films (less than 30 minutes) in a variety of categories including; documentary & promotion, comedy, music & art, drama and youth. North Fork Uncorked – Father’s Day Weekend – June 18 & 19, 2016
On Father’s Day weekend, the West Elks AVA’s wineries in western Colorado’s North Fork Valley will be holding special events, dinners and tours to showcase the quality and uniqueness of the Valley.
West Elks Wine Trail – August 5 – 7, 2016
The winemakers of the North Fork Valley invite you to their Annual West Elks Wine Trail on first weekend of August. This is a self-guided winery tour, each day from 11am until 5pm. You can pick up your map at any of the participating wineries and sample world class wines along with winemakers selected food and wine pairings. This event showcases the spectacular wines produced in the North Fork Valley of Colorado. The highest altitude vineyards in the northern hemisphere are planted in the West Elks AVA and they invite your to relax and enjoy the tour.
